Have Fun at the Nintendo Amusement Park

Here’s a new concept for you gamers and thrill seekers: Nintendo Amusement Park. This might be the place where you can jump on mushrooms, collect flowers to power up and jump around obstacles in the form of boxes in order to save a princess. Okay, that might not be accurate, but that’s close enough.

This proposed Nintendo Amusement Park is being promoted as a “real life obstacle course” where a player will be using a power-assist harness to jump through a mechanical obstacle course that will give him the feeling that he’s in a videogame. This “physically augmented reality” is still a proposal though for a new kind of user-controlled interactive ride.

Hopefully, if this prototype of this part pushes through, this Nintendo Amusement Park will be showcased at next year’s E3. And we’re hoping this isn’t one of those pranks to get us all excited about Nintendo (although that dorky video has us suspecting that it might just be one…).
