Heads Up! Guild Wars Updates And Bug Fixes

guild warsGuild Wars players should be glad to know that several important bug fixes and adjustments have recently been made by the Guild Wars Support Team in order to improve your gaming experience.

The complete list of updates can be found at the Guild Wars website, however, there are several notable changes that have been made that should make a lot of people happy:

  • removal of bugs which caused NPC AI and/or animation to go weird
  • removal of bugs that prevented teams smaller than 4 from entering the Team Arena.
  • removal of a bug that caused players to crash during cinematics
  • removal of a bug that caused some clients to crash during Elite missions.
  • Eased excessive messaging filter restrictions for party chat, guild chat, and whispers.
  • removal of a bug that caused sound to drop out on some sound cards.
  • the addition of 25 new guild emblems
  • removal of a bug that caused players to respawn immediately in Alliance Battles, Fort Aspenwood and Jade Quarry.

One of the favorite fixes would be the increased duration of the loot assignment timer which allows the player who killed the monster up to 10 minutes to pick up his or her loot. Many consider this to be a wonderful addition as this can potentially decrease the number of kill steals in the game.
