Headshot: Sony snipes “Killzone 2 at GDC” rumor

Looks like we’ll be doing a little more waiting, guys. Shortly after the rumor popped up regarding Killzone 2‘s suprise appearance at this year’s Game Developer’s Conference, Sony itself has stepped in to dismiss this much talked-about debut of Guerrilla Games’ Halo-killer title.

“No, Killzone won’t be GDC at all,” said Computer Entertainment of America Manager Manager Ryan Bowling when inquired by IGN. The good news, however, is that Bowling promises new information to develop soon, “but not at GDC,” as he added.

This year’s GDC will be taking place at the Moscone Convention Center in San Francisco. Sony’s Phil Harrison is expected to make a keynote speech, alongside Nintendo’s Shigeru Miyamoto. As for Killzone 2, we’ll just have to review whatever info’s available at the moment.
