Heard Through the NetVine: Final Fantasy VII for PS3 in December?

We didn’t hear it but we saw it on Best Buy. Final Fantasy VII Advent Children for PS3 will be available starting December 1, 2006 on BD-ROM. (Retail price is $59.99!) We checked the Square Enix site and we didn’t see anything even remotely close to it. We did feature an article about two Final Fantasy titles designed for the PS3, neither one of them was Final Fantasy VII. What’s more Final Fantasy XIII for PS3 won’t be available until next year 2007 while the other PS3 title, Final Fantasy Versus XIII, is slated for 2008.
 
Do they know something the rest of us don’t? Since they’re already taking pre-orders… anybody out there willing to see what their $59.99 will bring this Christmas?
