Helghan fever – Killzone 2 sells over a million units since launch

The Helghan-raiding fever reaches epic proportions as Killzone 2 sells over a million copies since its launch back in February 29th, 2009. “Killzone 2 has been the fastest SCEA PS3 title to break the 500,000 unit mark [in North America] and it’s also the highest selling SCEA PS3 title for the first 30 days out of launch,” Steinberg told Game Daily. “So far, we are extremely happy with the results.”

Killzone 2 “exceeded our expectations” Steinberg said. But it doesn’t end there. Killzone 2 is also set to get new DLC by the end of April, tentatively at the very least. The DLC, which contains two new maps, will be a big hit for those who count themselves among the million, and maybe win over the others who still haven’t picked up a copy.
