Hellboy PS3 Trailer unveiled
Konami Digital Entertainment have released a trailer for all those Hellboy fans out there. Critics have high hopes for the new Hellboy game, set for a 2007 release, hoping that Dark Horse Comics‘ Hellboy will do as well as many Marvel Comic properties have done on the PlayStation format. Perhaps Hellboy will even appeal to an older audience due to it’s original storyline and the original comic book’s unmistakable fusion of action, atmosphere and humor. Mark my words, comic fanatics will be running in their thousands on the release date to get their hands on this one.
This teaser trailer gives you a small glimpse of what to expect from this game, and reminds me alot of the screenshots released during E3 2006. Although it is more of a teaser than a trailer, and in fact, rather resembles the film; it still shows us what we can expect from the game in 2007. The PS3 has high hopes, and Hellboy is one of the games that could really show off what the PS3 can do and smash all the recent criticisms. Comic book titles are one of the few game titles that sell well worldwide due to the worldwide success of comic books. We all need to unleash the Hellboy inside us at some point – better off in a game than in the real world!
