Hellgate: London’s blade dances and auras characters video
We knew that the Flagship Studios title Hellgate: London was practically Diablo‘s descendant, but we had no idea that it would feel like the Night of the Living Dead, too. (Insert image of getting chased around by hordes of rabid zombies here.) We’ve got a new video that showcases the different characters that will be available in the upcoming video game.
Namco and Electronic Arts Hellgate: London centers on a post-apocalyptic setting where a demonic invasion has started to overrun the Earth – starting with London. We still got a sketchy idea of the characters that players can choose from but in the trailer we see at least the types from each faction. Each faction (Templar, Cabalist, and Hunter) has two character types fighting for them. We see the Hunter faction’s Marksman and Engineer, the Cabalist faction’s Evoker and Summoner, and the Templar’s Blademaster and Guardian.
One interesting point to note (it made this particular writer smile in reminiscence) is that the Blademaster makes this cool move where she does a ballet spin – much like Diablo II‘s Barbarian Whirlwind. Also, the Guardian gets an aura-like attack like the Paladin in Diablo.
Anyway, check out the video. You might see something you like.
