hell-tech secures Loki publishing rights
The publishing rights to Cyanide Studios‘ brand new PC-based RPG Loki has just been secured by Greek publishing and distribution company hell-tech. The hack ‘n’ slash action-RPG title puts players in the shoes of one of the four heroes of the game, each drawn from a different mythology: a fierce Greek warrior a mighty Norse fighter, a powerful Egyptian magician, or an Aztec shaman who masters the secrets of the spirit world.
In each of the four worlds that the player will traverse, he will become part of a great historical or mythological event such as the fall of Troy and the Spanish invasion of Central America. The player will also encounter great historical or mythological characters like Achilles and Thor.
With over 50 quests, more than a hundred different monsters, and a random level generator, players will never play the same game twice in Loki. Another nifty feature of the game is the ability to customize weapons and armour at a blacksmith’s workshop, improving technical or magical properties and, in doing so, creating original items of great value.
hell-tech plans to release Loki in Q2 2007 throughout Greece, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia, FYROM, South Africa, and Turkey. The game is set to be released in the U.S. in Q2 2007 and in Europe on December 31.
