HHGL looses one of its valuable players…

Proof, aka DeShaun Holton, was shot outside a Nightclub on April 11th 2006, many may know him as a rapper from the band D12. He affects us in the gaming league as he was a valuable player in it. For those of you unaware, the HHGL (Hip Hop Gaming League) was created by Snoop Dogg and is mainly an event which celebrity musicians and athletes go head to head in games on the Xbox. Incidentally Proof is shot down in the video ‘Like Toy Soldiers’ and dies as a result of his best friend’s troubles with other labels, his best friend being Eminem. To mark respect for the loss, there will be no gaming events for two days as the loss is mourned. Some of you may not feel sympathy for someone who was a rapper, but Proof remained one of the good guys in rap, and a death is a death and shouldn’t be unrecognised.
