High Resolution Downgrade Video From Yoshihiro!
UPDATE: WiSHGFX has emailed 3 questions he asked the PSP-Dev members about the downgrader:
Q: Will the downgrader require 2 PSP’s or 2 Memory Sticks?
A: With the method we are using, one PSP and one MS will be enoughQ: Will it definitely work on 2.0?
A: On theory, yes.Q: What time do you estimate it will be ready by?
A: We can’t estimate a release day, maybe tomorrow, maybe on one month

Team WAB’s IRC channel was just filled with a file: another demo video of the downgrader which Yoshihiro has been working on.
The video was shot on a v2.0 PSP. Yoshihiro first browsed to the system version to show it’s v2.0 (he forgot to cover the MAC address, ouch…), then browsed to Game -> Memory Stick, then launched the downgrade program. The screen turned into black for about 16 seconds, and then re-lit up with the interface of v1.5 System Software Upgrade. He then tried to proceed with “Start” and got a “AC Adapter not connected” error (which is needed for a firmware update). After that, he quitted the upgrade program. In the end, Yoshihiro wanted to say thanks to everyone who donated before September, 1st, to help him getting the Euro PSP, and also emphasized that he is not Seargent007.
Well, now we know Yoshihiro is getting the different error message, compared with Seargent007’s work. But we don’t know what will happen if he connects the AC adapter and proceed again… Sweet.
