High-Res PS3 Warhawk Video

Warhawk is an upcoming, and highly anticipated, title for the PS3. With promises of tons of enemies on the screen at a single time and loads of graphical enhancements, Warhawk has a lot to live up to. Today, we’re bringing you a semi-high res cam of the video shown at the GDC a few months ago. The video is only 38 seconds long but shows us a little of what the PS3 is capable of doing.

If the video quality was a bit better we’d be able to see all of the details on the aircraft. Warhawk promises a lot in terms of graphics, which, judging by the video, seems to be on the right track. The game  uses the Cell processor to render clouds and other effects in the scenery. Let’s hope this game isn’t all eye candy and actually has some substance to it. If PS3 developers focus only on the graphics, then they are in for quite a shock when their games go retail.
