High-resolution Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII scans from V-Jump
The last time we updated you on the highly-anticipated game that promises to tie up all the loose ends about Cloud, Sephiroth and Zack of Final Fantasy VII, Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII on the PlayStation Portable, we gave you a few nifty-yet-blurry scans to chew on. Now, thanks to zak234 and tipster Mehso, we can finally see in high-resolution glory just what’s in store for PSP users all over the world when the game finally gets released, through these improved scans.
One thing to note with these scans – now that we can really see the actual images without squinting or resorting to Photoshop trickery – is that the visual quality of the characters are absolutely stunning. In all honesty, Sephiroth, Tifa, Zack and Cloud never looked so good and similar to their Advent Children selves – and that’s with their in-game counterparts, mind.
Square Enix definitely has a classic on their hands, with a massive fanbase eagerly anticipating their next trip into Midgar. It doesn’t hurt that they kept most of the game’s roots intact, as evidenced by Odin’s Zantetsuken attack. It’s good to have the the sword-wielding guy back on your side and slashing things in half, isn’t it?
Updates as we get them. Enjoy the scans!
