Hitman: Blood Money available in Europe on Friday

Hitman Blood MoneyEidos Interactive has sent out word that after the newest in the Hitman series went gold a week ago, the title is now just about to arrive on European store shelves! On May 26th, you can grab your copy of Blood Money, available for Xbox 360, PC, PS2 and Xbox. US residents will have to wait four days longer, till May 30th.

Early reviews are pretty positive – Official Playstation Magazine gave it a 9/10, Game Informer 7.75/10 and Official Xbox Magazine 8.5/10, making Blood Money arguably the best part of the Hitman series yet, which “rewards calculating and sociopathic players with a super-satisfying blend of thought, tension, violence, humour and downright cool”.

Blood Money will put players once again into the role of 47, the world’s deadliest assassin. When he finds members of his contract agency getting killed one by one by a mysterious rival agency, not only will 47 need to complete his missions in the usual, inconspicuous ways, he’ll also has to gather intelligence about his new enemies along the way.

While PC gamers had the chance to try out the first level of the game since Monday, Xbox followers had to rely on magazines, but the demo might possibly show up on Xbox Live Marketplace sooner or later.
