It’s time to un-rumor a rumor with yet another rumor. Although a lot of us got pretty excited when it was rumored that Nintendo would stuff our Virtual Console stockings with three brand new games – Super Mario Bros., R-Type, Toe Jam & Earl – on Christmas day, better check our lists twice to wheedle out the naughty from the nice.

Guess we’re not getting any of these candies after all, instead, we’re left with charcoal as presents. And we’d have to pay for them too. It’s been rumored that Nintendo actually denies this rumor about the timeless trio. Rumors debunking rumors, now how ’bout that?
