Homebrew PSP Earth v0.5 delayed
If you’ve been waiting for PSP Earth v0.5, we’re sorry to report that mat_dizzy has announced that it will not be coming out this month. No specifics have been given regarding this delay. Dizzy simply said that “dramatic work is needed to it to make it much better.”
If you don’t know what PSP Earth is, it essentially gives PSP owners webcam access through the handheld’s wireless Internet capabilities.
The previous version PSP Earth v0.2 beta, which has been out for sometime now, was coded in HTML, Flash, Java, and Visual Basic though it was announced that mat_dizzy has plans to code it in Lua. Could this be the reason for the delay?
There has been no word on when exactly PSP Earth v0.5 will be out, so we’ll be following up on this. Hopefully, this will come out soon because it really expands the use of the PSP in ways no one thought possible before.
