Yet another frustratingly lacking-in-detail clue that a Final Fantasy VII remake is in the works. An ad found in the latest issue of the Japanese mag DeGenki PlayStation has the following message for hopefuls:
“CLOUD message… Coming Soon.”

Will Squeenix finally announce a Final Fantasy VII remake? Or is it an ad for an Advent Children Complete event? I’m leaning on the first one though.
I’m sure you guys remember that Crisis Core had a secret ending showing a remake of Final Fantasy VII‘s opening FMV. If that’s not enough of a hint, it even ended with the message “to be continued in Final Fantasy VII.”
Can’t Square Enix just come out and say it already? Gah. Anyway, here’s the FMV again for you, just so you can share my frustration.
