Hori Arcade Stick arrives in US this November
Nostalgic for the good old days when you had a joystick instead of a joypad for your console? Well someone out there loves ‘ya ’cause the Hori stick gives you just that for your Wii.
The Japanese accessory maker will be releasing the Hori arcade stick in the U.S. this November 6 with a price tag of US$ 50. Aside from the joystick giving you that good old Atari feeling, it has eight other buttons for that familiar arcade feeling.
The American design seems to carry no difference with the original Japanese design. The stick was originally conceptualized when Hori realized that some people would prefer an Arcade style controller over flapping your arms around when they play fighting games.
While it does defeat the innovative style that made the Wii popular, it’s still good to be able to enjoy yourself in a style that you’re familiar with.
