Hortus: Update on WoW PTR’s missing NPC vendors

WoW logo - Image 1Just a quick update for World of Warcraft‘s gamers, in case you’re among the game’s band of Public Test Realm (PTR) members. Xandromin dropped by the WoW forums earlier to ask Blizzard rep Hortus regarding the case of gear vendors, specifically, whether Blizzard had plans to reactivate them in future patches given that they were currently removed due to user abuse. As Hortus stated:

Like pre-mades, equipment vendors are a testing tool and will be used when we feel the need for them to complete our testing goals on a specific patch.

There will be an announcement if they are used in the future.

On this note, it doesn’t look like the NPC didn’t quite make it in the recent PTR patch. We’ll let you know if Hortus gives more details on when they plan to return these vendors to prep the players for any new innovations.
