Hot Fixes In Dark Age of Camelot This Week

With global warming on the rise and summer heat waves predicted for much of North America this weekend, did you really need more heat? Well, all you Dark Age of Camelot fans, put on your shades and apply your sun-block, you’ll like these “hot” fixes:

– The Squib Hammer and ZimmeronÂ’s Wrath now properly proc for level 50 characters with maximum experience.

– The Large Weapon version of ZimmeronÂ’s Wrath  now properly requires Large Weapon skill.

– Clerics unable to activate the Staff of the God can now see the appropriate Scholar to activate the artifact.

– Warlocks unable to activate the Belt of the Moon can now see the appropriate Scholar to activate the artifact.

In addition, Missy reports that an exploit in which spells with a 2.0 casting time were used to speed up the action of slower weapons has now been eliminated, and the one-handed version of Zimmeron’s Wrath can no longer be used left-handed.

Publisher Mythic Entertainment (currently in the process of being acquired by Sims 2 publisher Electronic Arts) is offering a free 14-Day trial of their flagship game. If you choose to buy the game at a store rather than online, they are also offering their “Epic Edition,” which includes all the expansions in one package. Right now, the DAoC servers are online and running v. 1.84, so log on and slay some monsters!
