You guys gotta admit, among all the Wii Channels announced, the Weather channel is one of the least attention-grabbing ones. I mean, some of you guys were like "Meh...what else?" when we first announced that the Wii Weather is already up and running. It's good to know though that most of you hopped back on board when you found out that the Weather channel can be used with Madden. So what the heck does this intro have to do with today's post?
Well, some Wii users have been complaining that they're being a bit weathered down by the Weather channel. Why? Apparently, the channel takes a bit long to update (in some locations at least). Over at the IGN forums, some users in L.A., UK, and Spain have been experiencing a lag in updates, making the Weather channel (for lack of a better term) a bit useless.
But again, apparently, this does not hold true in all regions and countries. Some are also saying that their Weather channel is totally up to date, and that they haven't been experiencing any of the lags that some users are complaining about. So what's the deal here then? Could it be that Nintendo's "weather associates" for different countries differ in the efficiency of their reports?
Nintendo hasn't addressed this issue yet, and we have no idea whether this concern has been forwarded to them, but if what these users are saying, then perhaps this could use a little looking into. It's such a shame to see this nifty Wii feature go to waste, right? How about you guys? How's the Wii Weather at your region?
