How much do you like The Burning Crusade? The Anti-TBC guild

Well, just how much do you like the World of Warcraft‘s expansion? The Burning Crusade earned oodles of raves from critics and most definitely from players as well. Surfing through the WoW Europe Forums however, we found a level 60 warlock named Tyke proposing an Anti-TBC guild.

Wait, what? In the opening post, Tyke wrote, “My idea is simple – for those people who have lost interest since TBC came out, wouldn’t it be a great idea to start afresh and create a guild that only stays in Azeroth.” Hmm. There’s an idea.

Just yesterday we heard from a couple of people griping about the current state of raiding. It seems that a number of players have lost the will to go into the higher level instances due to insane trash mob respawns and consumable use. Then maybe it would be a good idea to go back to good old Azeroth and stay there instead of quitting the World of Warcraft altogether.

An Anti-TBC guild would be a good thing for those people who started playing after The Burning Crusade came out, and/or old players experiencing raid burnout. Blizzard poster Vaneras commented on the thread:

I actually think that this is a good idea for those who do not enjoy playing the new content that was added with the Burning Crusade expansion. If one does not like the new stuff so much, then it seems sensible to stick with the old stuff that one liked better. If you decide to go through with this and create a guild that focuses on the old content, then I wish you the best of luck 🙂
