Hudson Soft has just opened a Japanese teaser website for upcoming overhead vertical shooter Star Soldier R. This particular game is part of the Star Soldier franchise that first made exploits on the Nintendo Entertainment System back on 1985.

When Star Soldier R was still under development, everybody thought that it was going to be a full-priced retail game. However, it was revealed a while ago that it will be released on Nintendo’s WiiWare service – a Wii Shop Channel dedicated to providing players with downloadable games.

The teaser website itself is just one page and we can’t see any links related to Star Soldier R like trailers, screenshots, and video game info. Despite that, it is still good to know that Hudson Soft is doing everything to make sure that the return of Star Soldier is going to be as good as possible.
