HuE for PSP v0.51

304_1

?e? has released a new version of his PC Engine emulator (Turbo Grafx 16) , HuE for PSP v0.51. This one has many changes:

(1) Sound correction
—- Problem was in buffer management, advised by Ruka.
—- Speed was increased, but it’s not enough to really be noticed.
—- There are games (like OutRun) that never want to go past 30fps…
—- There’s times in OutRun and AfterBurner where it falls to 30fps, and noise comes out.
—- I wonder what register the game’s changing the setup of… 🙁
(2) Frameskip seems to be quite mysterious. When you set it up, you want it to skip probably 1 frame.
—- Don’t report the same bug over and over… 🙁
(3) Merged CD-ROM support from the source of PCEP070.
—- Please don’t use MP3s as I don’t think they will play back since it seems to be unstable when working.
(4) Corrected the problem with save states not working normally, advised by Ruka.
—- The problem seemed to be an overrun sound buffer.
(5) CPU Speed Improvement (Ruka)
(6) Even though it’s strange when compiling with VC++6 on Windows, it works. Debugging is annoying…

You can get it in our PSP Download section [here].

Tons of thanks to Soulfang for his super long translation =D
