HGMQ's plot is as simple as ABC. In this game, you are given the unenviable task of growing your sector and conquering the galaxy. The players can create a fleet to attack other sectors to gain more land. Of course, galaxy domination will cost big bucks...that's why players could earn money by selling resources.
The amount of resources the player gets each hour is determined by the amount of land the player has of that resource. And since being the ultimate ruler of the galaxy is an almost impossible task on your own, HGMQ players can also form alliances with other sectors. In an alliance the player has allies to protect or attack with them.
Basically, it's your typical, garden-variety MMORPG wherein you conquer, team up and dominate -- where your talents aren't the only basis of winning, but your networks and allies will create a huge dent in your reputation as well. So if you have some idle time in your hands (and by that we mean a lot of it), then maybe you oughta give Hyper Galactic Mega Quest a go, you ain't gonna lose a dime anyway.
