Ice, more ice, and a baby! Parodius Collection gameplay

If this was really an Ice Age stage, we want to see more ice! One of the things that really throw us for a loop whenever we see gameplay for this series is how the spaceship you fly in Parodius looks a lot like a baby in an Ice Climber costume.

Of course, that might be the reason why they call it Parodius. It’s Konami‘s very own series parodying its own games, from other shooters like Gradius and Twin Bee to non-shooters like Castlevaniaand Lethal Enforcers. Five games for under US$ 25 is always a good thing.

While we wait for the eventual release of Parodius Collection in Japan and the US, let’s enjoy some more Ice Age level action, courtesy of Game Videos.
