Illegal Blizzard Realm Transfers?

Ever since World of Warcraft was released, there have been players willing to pay to have their characters transferred from one realm to another, but Blizzard stated that hardware restrictions made this move impossible. In the past, there was one instance in which an entire guild was moved by a Blizzard employee because they were disliked on their server, but the switch was quickly recognized by the community and they were moved back.

Apparently, Blizzard doesn’t seemed to have learned much since this incident. A gamer known as Curadouranna noticed that two new players, Galeb and Cheetarah, appeared on his realm. When he decided to check what guild they came from, he actually found that had a history together on the Sargeras server. How they managed to get on to the Uther server from there is a mystery, but it seems as if having connections at Blizzard could earn you a free realm transfer. The following links show how the two aforementioned characters knew each other on Sargeras, yet somehow managed to get all of their character data on the Uther server.

It seems as if the “impossible” hardware issues can easily be overcome by knowing someone in charge at Blizzard, and we’ll certainly be waiting to see the other side of this issue if they even decide to address it.
