As the readers may recall, Sony released a new cradle accessory for the PSP Slim just a few days ago for the territories in Japan. Now, if you’re among the guys planning to import one for your own use, you’ll probably want to see how it looks, which brings us to our current topic.

We’ve managed to pick up several shots of the Slim cradle, along with some of the other accessories built to go with it. Of special note is the cradle’s remote control, which allows you to access the PSP’s XMB wirelessly.

That, coupled with the AV Out cable, will turn your handheld into a veritable multimedia system. Another subtle feature we note is that the cradle allows you to open the PSP’s UMD port. Those who bought their films in this proprietary format should find this function handy. As a recap, the Cradle costs 4,800 Yen (US$ 46).
