Import Tuner Challenge (also known as Tokyo Extreme Racer and Shutoku Battle) is a street racing title developed by Genki and being published by Ubisoft. The game lets players customize licensed sport and concept cars using authentic tuner parts and race against rivals on the streets of Tokyo.
This game’s got mad customization features, having more than 5 million (whoa!) customization possibilities. After tuning their cars to peak performance, players can race offline against as many as 400 distinct opponents or go online and pit their skills against other players.
Honestly, we can’t stop thinking about those 5 million customization possibilities. Most likely, we’ll be spending more time playing around with the car’s look and performance than actually racing. Anyway, the gameplay video’s looking quite pretty, and the customization menu looks interesting. Plus the car is right-hand drive. That adds a few points to authenticity.
