Impossible Mission screenshots

After the announcement that game developer System 3 will be breathing new life into the retro title Impossible Mission, here comes the first set of PlayStation Portable (PSP) screenshots for the game.

First released in 1984 for the Commodore 64 system, Impossible Mission allows players to take on the role of a spy who is out to stop the plans of yet another evil genius who wants to turn the world upside down. It then becomes a race against the clock as you (the spy) have to infiltrate the enemy’s base, search the premises for pieces and clues, and then assemble the password that will bring the whole evil operation to a halt. All this while avoiding an army of deadly robots, of course.

So, as we wait for the video game’s port for the Sony‘s PSP to finally make it to retails stores on the promised Q2 2007 release date, here are the screenshots we’ve promised. Viva retro!
