Incremental update to Tabula Rasa build 1.6 heading to test server soon

Tabula Rasa to get incremental update to patch 1.6 - Image 1Here’s an important update for Richard Garriott’s Tabula Rasa that players should keep in mind. A community representative has announced that an incremental update will be heading to the test server soon. This update, as you can probably guess, aims to fix some issues found in the 1.6 build. More on this after the jump.

Tabula Rasa to get incremental update - Image 1 If you’re encountering some problems in your game of Richard Garriott’s Tabula Rasa, then don’t fret. Community representative Critters announced that NCsoft spotted two issues that require an incremental build update to fix.

Here’s Critters’ announcement on the Tabula Rasa website:

We found 2 issues with the 1.6 build (currently on Live) that will require an incremental build to correct. The first issue involves a few Logos Reliquaries that have a bug in their reward package, causing them to be empty. The other issue involves a memory leak and lag on the Incline Map due to some recent NPC changes.

We hope to have the next incremental (1.6.6.2 for those of you who are counting) on the Public Test Server very soon.

The memory leak issue certainly sounds like a nasty one, though we’re glad to see that NCsoft is doing something to nip it in the bud. Do note, however, that this will temporarily disable any characters you’re testing for the 1.7 build, as the incremental build will replace 1.7 in the Public Test Server for a short while. In any case, keep checking QJ for more updates to Richard Garriott’s Tabula Rasa as we have them.
