For the new PlayStation Plus subscribers, you can download yourself a 60-minute trial of the full game for free. For the rest, it’s US$ 29.99 to download, which is how much the game sells at retailers nowadays. If you do decide to go for the download, then it’s 6.88GB worth of data, so you better be ready for a marathon if your connection isn’t top-notch.
Back in February, PlayStation senior VP Peter Dille said that they’re not planning to put full-sized PS3 games up on PSN for download, “at least, not any time soon“. It’s been almost five months since then, are they now starting to look the other way? Or are they just looking to provide some incentives for PlayStation Plus at the moment?
