Infinity Ward slips info on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2

A new Modern Warfare game is in the works, according to a Twitter post by Infinity Ward‘s community manager. Anyone surprised the game’s getting a sequel? Didn’t think so.

A new Modern Warfare game is in the works, according to a Twitter post by Infinity Ward‘s community manager, saying he was reviewing voice-overs for the game:

Reviewing some radio-chatter [voice-over] we just finished recording for Modern Warfare 2 today. ‘Cujo Two-One this is Vulture, solid copy on all.

Anyone surprised the game’s getting a sequel? Didn’t think so. Acti-Bliz confirmed last December that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 “will exist,” but refused to give any details, so it’s good to hear that it’s already well into development. We’ll probably hear more about it in the months leading to E3 this June.
