Robert Bowling of Infinity Ward has taken the time to address various concerns and questions that players may have with regards to the said patch.

Bowling noted the following points of concern in his blog:

  • Region-Specific Players – Right now, Australians and players from other remote regions are at a disadvantage as far as online party matchmaking is concerned
  • Clan Tag Tweaks – While the “Button Clan Tag Glitch” has been fixed, other wonky issues have surfaced
  • Quick Mute Info – Currently, Quick Mute is only available while in-game, as Infinity Ward hasn’t been able to link the feature with Xbox Live mute functionality
  •  Patch Placebo – Contrary to what players have been claiming, Bowling has made it clear that the patch has not changed weapon stats at all.
  • Host Migration Feedback – According to Bowling host migration is supposed to keep everyone together so they don’t have to go back to the private party lobby.

Bowling has expressed his appreciation for all the comments and feedback from concerned players of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. He also reassured them that Infinity Ward has heard their complaints and is currently addressing the issues mentioned above.

Until then, it seems a little patience is in order. If you like, you may visit Robert Bowling’s blog for more info, care of the source link below.
