In-Game MP3 Player and New Screens for Earache Extreme Metal Racing
Ready to invade the PS2, PC and PSP, Earache Extreme Metal Racing will feature ten Earache racing teams drawing blood on the themed tracks. The Creative Team has confirmed the racing teams set to appear in the game: Mortiis, Deicide, Morbid Angel, Akercocke, Decapitated, Biomechanical Municipal Waste, The Berzerker, Linea 77, and Society 1.
But that’s not the only thing going on with this game. Word has it that the Archos 104 MP3 player will be used as the in-game MP3 machine. This means that players will be able to choose tracks while playing the game. This will definitely make listening to the soundtrack more fun as you can choose sounds from Napalm Death, At The Gates, Cathedral, The Haunted, Hate Eternal, Cult of Luna, Beecher, Urkraft, Anata, Mistress, Severe Torture and many others.
The in-game MP3 player idea will be brought to reality through the joint partnership of Metro 3D and Archos, global consumer electronics manufacturer and leader in portable digital entertainment solutions.
Here are some more new screenshots for you to enjoy while waiting for the release of the game.
