Initial D: Street Stage Hitting the Road Soon

Initial D: Street StageFans of the Initial D anime and manga will definitely love this PSP version of the game. Unlike its PS2 version, Initial D: Street Stage will appeal more to gamers because of its multiplayer mode achieved via Ad-Hoc. Like its arcade counterpart, it offers a wide variety of cars to choose from (30 cars including the 1986 Toyota Trueno). There are eight amazing tracks in the game, and the Eurobeat soundtrack is still available for this game too.

The characters in the game stay true to their anime characters which is a good thing especially for those die-hard fans. Tuning and customizing of the car you’re using is possible with this PSP version of the game. After a race or a time trial, different cards will appear (tuning card, customization card and media card) that will give gamers the option to tune their cars or to trade it with other gamers’ cards.

Initial D: Street Stage looks promising; too bad there still aren’t hints of it getting released in the US market soon.
