Insomniac tells more about Resistance 2 in podcast
So Resistance 2 will come out this year, but aside from its epic eight-player co-op and 60-player multiplayer modes, what do we actually know about this game? Insomniac gives more details about their upcoming gem in their podcast. The details in the full article!
Yes, we’re all excited and hyped-up with Insomniac Games‘ Resistance 2, along with its 8-player online co-op mode and the 60-player online multiplayer chaos. To up the hype level a bit we’ve got another bunch of juicy information that’ll whet your appetite while the game is still being developed.
According to Insomniac’s podcast, development for Resistance 2 is coming along nicely, with the developing team already finished with the single-player campaign’s outline. There is also a random level generator, which can be used in online co-op gameplay but won’t be available in the 60-multiplayer battles.
New soldier classes are set to be included in the mix as well, though like the random level generator, these classes can only be used in online co-op mode.
Gaming magazine Game Informer also mentioned something named the “Chameleon”. Described as an enemy that stalks its prey, several readers have supposed that the Chameleon is a type of vehicle. However, Insomniac dispelled the rumor in their podcast, describing the Chameleon as a living creature.
Resistance 2 sure is shaping to be as good as its predecessor. Stay tuned here to get more updates!
