Insomniac to introduce new “PlayStation 3 project” sometime soon
Earlier this month, Sony expressed sadness over the loss of their exclusivity deal with Insomniac, makers of hit franchises like Ratchet and Clank. However, they also said that they will remain steadfast in their optimism as to the two companies’ future. However, they also said that they will remain steadfast in their optimism as to the two companies’ future. Turns out there is something to look forward to as Insomniac has now confirmed that they do have a new “PlayStation 3 project” in the works.
According to the press release they sent out earlier, “We’re happy to reveal that we’ll be announcing our newest game sometime between now and the Penny-Arcade Expo over Labor Day weekend. We’re really excited to finally reveal this project, and we couldn’t resist being the first to share the news with you.”
They’re actually bringing this new game to the PAX, via a very special panel one fine Saturday evening, on September 4, 2010, at 6:30PM in the Serpent Theatre. So if you want to be among the first to see their new game being played publicly, be there. Adam Sessler of G4TV will be moderating the panel with key creative talent from Insomniac games where they will not only discuss but also give a demo of their new PS3 project.
The PAX is happening in Cologne, Germany later this month.
