Interesting FFT Lion War updates

 

Square Haven has a juicy bit of news for us. When the PSP version of Final Fantasy Tactics: The Lion War ships in Japan on May 10, it will carry not only the hotly anticipated multiplayer battle mode where players can see who the master tactician is, it will also have Balthier of the Final Fantasy XII fame.

 

The game is a remake of the tactical RPG masterwork from the original PlayStation. Ramza retains his role as the lead character in the story which is seasoned by religious referrals, betrayals and conspiracies.

Anime cutscenes are looking great. We’re not sure if the plot angle will follow the same pattern of the original but members of the 1997 cult are just as hungry for this one as we were the day we finished the original.
