If you’re an owner of Sony‘s handheld, then you’d want to read up on what Planet Moon Studio’s Aaron Loeb has to say regarding the state of the handheld. In an interview with Gamastura, he spoke that the interest in the PSP is definitely making a comeback.
Thinking about what he initially said, the PSP has had a few big releases this year alone, namely God of War: Chains of Olympus, Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G, and Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII. These titles really helped contribute with the resurgence of the console.
Even though Loeb’s company, along with other developers, stopped making games for the said console due to low sales rate of their PSP titles, he noted that, “Interest in the PSP is definitely coming back among the publishers, though. That little puppy just keeps on selling!” The distinct experience brought by the PSP might be able to resurrect the interest from the devs.
Developing games take time. Only time will tell if what Loeb has said can become a reality. If you like to read more on what he had to say, feel free to visit the link below. We’ll keep you guys posted on any news regarding the PSP.
