Introducing Malakesh: Untold Legends’ Arcane Warrior
We’ve been giving you coverage of Untold Legends: Dark Kingdom for a while now, including a preview interview and gameplay trailers, as well as screenshots. Until the game’s released on the PS3 this coming November, you can be sure that isn’t going to change.
What new stuff we do have, however, are screenshots. These new screenies seem to be of the third character in the game, Malakesh the Mage. Malakesh is the third warrior of the Dragon Shade that went to the Kingdom of Dureth to fight barbarians. Upon his return home, he finds that Malakar, the king, has begun using dark magic, enslaving the people in the process. What this definitely means is there will be a lot of hacking, slashing, freezing, and crushing as you try to protect your kingdom by betraying the now-deranged king.
One thing you might notice from the screenshots is the pic of him swinging his staff with all the red effects trailing behind it. While it does look like the mage, that kind of up-close and personal swinging doesn’t seem like a very magical thing to do.
Still, if a mage can look like a warrior swinging a big stick, it’s all good. Till the game comes out, let’s see what else the developers have in store for us, shall we?
