Introducing the official QJ.NET Age of Conan guild: Ravens of Memory
We’re happy to announce that the QJ.NET Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures blog now has a guild on the Wiccana server: The Ravens of Memory. If you want to find out more about the guild and how to join, then head on over to the full article by clicking on the “read more” link.
We’ve finally ironed out the details and are happy to announce that the QJ.NET Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures blog now has a guild on the Wiccana server: The Ravens of Memory.
Now, a little background on the Ravens of Memory, in case you missed the the last Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures Weekend Warrior. The guild is family-friendly and was created with one thing in mind: having fun! In other words, no one’s going to pressure you to level your character or donate to the guild but we’re not going to stop you from doing so either.
This isn’t a hardcore raiding/keep building/leveling guild although we do run regular raids for both XP and loot for those who want to participate, regularly upgrade the keep with the hope of getting our very own battlekeep, and even have leveling sessions for those who enjoy grinding.
In short, no one is going to force you to do anything that you don’t want to do when you join the Ravens. Want to just hang out? Then feel free to do so! Want to go on raids? We’ll schedule it and see when we can run the instance at a convenient time.
The Ravens of Memory already has its own website and a Ventrillo server which we encourage (but not require) members to use. In addition, the guild has completed putting up the Tier one buildings and walls and is currently working on getting to Tier two. Check out this tribute video created by Drenai which shows off the keep:
The Ravens of Memory follows the Cimmerian government system and is lead by Dingar, who is the chieftain of the guild. He has also appointed several Warchiefs who assist in the day to day tasks of the guild, namely, Mikochi, Riggsters, Krystalz, Holyscion, Drenai, and Sangkojager.
Promotion in the Ravens of Memory is on a performance basis. While we value each and every member, those who contribute to the guild more climb the ranks at a much faster pace. The officers of the guild meet on a regular basis to evaluate the more active members and give out promotions as deemed necessary.
In case you’re interested in joining the guild, be sure to send a /tell to any of the Warchiefs or even Dingar himself when he’s online. We’ll talk to you guys and see what we can work out. So I hope to see you guys online, and maybe even in the Ravens of Memory.
