iOS 17.6 is now available
Apple has released updates to its current-generation operating systems. The builds of iOS 17, iPadOS 17, watchOS 10,6, tvOS 17,6, and macOS Sonoma 14.6, are now available for installation. Apple released updates for its current generation operating systems after five rounds of betas and a batch release candidates. The updates may be downloaded and installed automatically for users depending on the configuration of their devices once they are detected. Alternately a manual update may be pushed via the Settings app. These updates are only available for the current-generation OSs, not the fall updates. Apple operates a beta track simultaneously for iOS 18, iPadOS 18 tvOS 18 watchOS 11 and macOS Sequoia 15 Apple is unlikely to add new features to its current operating system, other than performance and security fixes, as the fall updates are expected to arrive within a few months. Updates to an iPhone are simple and don’t require a lot of user interaction. If automatic updates are enabled, then the update will usually install without prompting if the user has them enabled. If the update does not install automatically, or if you want to manually install it, go to the Settings app.
