iPhone Dev team releases untethered jailbreak for iPod Touch 2G
Great news for iPod Touch owners. The iPhone Dev Team has finally released an untethered jailbreak for the 2nd generation iPod Touch. Even better, the Dev Team has found a “fatal flaw in its bootrom that means you will always be able to pwn these devices no matter what firmware updates come along.”

Even better, the Dev Team has found a “fatal flaw in its bootrom that means you will always be able to pwn these devices no matter what firmware updates come along.”
The catch here is that it hasn’t been integrated yet into Pwnage Tool or QuickPwn, but it’s only a matter of time until new versions of these two apps are rolled out. Those who already tried out the tethered jailbreak can download the untethered jailbreak patch here.
