Looking for a cool new shooter? Try this one out – it’s called Pandemica and it’s an augmented reality shooter where you help blast the world clean of bio-unfriendlies.

 

The game, developed by XMG Studios, turns your iPhone into the SBI-22, a Bio-Imager that’ll help you see the invisible pathogens that you’ll be shooting. Be wary, those things are far from docile, so you’re in for some measure of difficulty going into this game. They attack with sticky green sludge that cover your screen (the bio-imager), but a quick shake of the iPhone should flail the goo away.

 

Using the iPhone’s camera, your battleground will be wherever it is you actually are. You will have to bend over, look up, turn right and left as you search around for green hostiles.

 

Pandemica is currently available in the App Store for the low, low price of free, so you might as well give it a try if that iPhone needs some gametime.
