Perfect timing. Apple has just announced that the iPhone OS 3.0 is coming, not soon after the iPhone Dev Team announced the discovery of a flaw in the second generation iPod Touch that allows you to pwn it no matter what firmware update comes along.

Apple has just announced that the iPhone OS 3.0 is coming, not soon after the iPhone Dev Team announced the discovery of a flaw in the second generation iPod Touch that allows you to pwn it no matter what firmware update comes along.
A preview of the OS is coming on March 17, with a look at a new version of the SDK. No info yet on when exactly we’re getting the new OS, but I assume it won’t be that long a wait, or else Apple wouldn’t tease us with a preview.
