In the game scene, a game analyst is touting the iPhone as the PSP killer. Agree, or disagree? Here's the biggest iPhone news this week:
- Game analyst Nicholas Lovell says that the iPod Touch will eventually kill off the PSP. The iPhone's a great device, but I disagree. What about you? Link.
- That said, it's still good the iPhone's getting some great games. id Software is releasing Wolfenstein RPG and Quake III for the iPhone. Link.
- Unconventional, yet interesting. The iChange is a car that uses your iPhone as a key. It's an all in one package for carjackers. Link.
- Some hackers got an Apple wireless keypad working with the iPhone, but they're not sharing the app just yet. Link.
- PSP Homebrew developer Exophase releases a port for the TurboGrafx-16 Temper: temper4iphone
- Add a swipe bar to the bottom of your iPhone screen as an alternative to the Home button: iHome
- Add more VOIP providers to make cheap calls when you're someplace with Wi-Fi: Siax (VOIP) Client
- An application that will let you send an SMS without closing the app you're currently running: QuickSMS
