Irem’s new PlayStation Portable project: Ikuze Gensan

Irem is currently working on a new PlayStation Portable video game called Ikuze Gensan. The title will be released in Japan this coming Spring. Despite being mum about an international release, one is highly expected.

Ikuze Gensan tells the story of a small-time carpenter who went up against an irresponsible construction company to save the town from further destruction. More details after the jump!

Irem, known for bringing Japanese PlayStation Portable video games to North America, has picked up a new project in the form of Ikuze Gensan. It is scheduled to be released in Japan this coming Spring.

Even though no specific international release date has yet been set, it is highly expected that this game will be brought as well to English-speaking markets given the business model Irem follows.

Anyway, Ikuze Gensan is the story of a good-hearted carpenter who plans to stop an irresponsible construction company from creating chaos and destruction in the streets, amusement parks, and beaches.

Despite being a carpenter, the main character Gensan is also capable of changing jobs that will ultimately affect his fighting style.
