CVG reports that the latest issue of PSW features a teaser for its next issue that carries the headline, “Hideo Kojima’s Next Game”. The text is superimposed on a silhouette of a man that bears a remarkable resemblance to the lead character from Lord of Shadow, Konami‘s upcoming action game for the PS3 and Xbox 360.
Lord of Shadow is a dark fantasy game set in the Middle Ages featuring “lots of combat and puzzle solving”. Development is being handled by Jericho devs Mercury Steam, and the release has been tentatively scheduled for next year. Konami seems pretty pumped about the game too, saying that they’re hoping it “will set a new standard for action-adventure titles”.
Is this it or is it just a little bait-and-switch action on the part of PSW? Well, at least now we have three choices of where to get the info: E3, the Kojima Productions teaser site, and PSW issue 122. Oh, and don’t forget that Famitsu PSP+PS3 issue that’s supposed to have something on the next Metal Gear.
