Is Japan finally warming up to Xbox 360?

Looks like Microsoft’s patience and tenacity is finally paying off! Peter Moore, Xbox corporate vice president said it would keep pushing the console in the Japanese market despite apparent lack of interest because it is “the home of some of the most creative developers in the world” and “some of the most demanding gamers in the world.” He also said Japan was a launching pad to other Asian countries.

Latest report says the Japanese are now lining up to buy the Xbox 360 which has been lagging behind the DS, Wii, and PS3 since its release there. The change of heart has been credited to Blue Dragon which opened to a long line of Japanese gamers some of them waited overnight to get a copy.
