Is Pac-Chain the unannounced Pac-Man project?

Namco Bandai is planning to unveil an unannounced Pac-Man project in E3 2010, but Siliconera spotted trademark pointing to what could be that project’s name. How does “Pac-Chain” sound to you?

Namco Bandai is planning to unveil an unannounced Pac-Man project in E3 2010, but Siliconera spotted trademark pointing to what could be that project’s name. How does “Pac-Chain” sound to you?

Pac-Chain? Err…no.

The trademark indicates that Pac-Chain will be for use with video games and coin-operated arcade machines. Since Namo Bandai already has Pac-Man Battle Royale in the pipeline, Pac-Chain might not be an arcade game. Do note, however, that the coin-operated arcade machines bit was not present in other Pac-Man trademarks.
